Typical projects include leaflets, strategies, letters, meeting minutes and agendas, surveys, consultation documents, posters, reports and academic papers.
I can turn around your project quickly and with minimum fuss.
Plain English
I can re-write your report, strategy, academic paper or business plan into "everyday" English which is easy to read for people with average literacy skills. If needed, this can then form the basis of an Easy Read document, language translations, or web pages.
As with Easy Read, I supply fully branded documents, in any format you require.
As a freelancer, I bring a fresh pair of eyes, which makes it easier to de-clutter your documents!

Training
I offer training courses in Easy Read design and plain English writing - from a 1 hour webinar, to full day workshops in a location of your choice.

Graphic Facilitation
Graphic recording is a brilliant way to help a person to participate in their life plan, assessment or review - especially if they struggle with language.
The drawings can be kept as a record of the meeting.
It is also frequently used by businesses to capture their brainstorming and planning meetings. My management background and MBA qualification, combined with design and facilitation skills are a winning combination for your away day!

I am involved in 2 innovative engagement projects:
EQUALD: University of Sheffield
My role is to facilitate the Advisory Group and produce Easy Read information for this research project. We are finding out about Individual Service Funds, and how to make them work well.
